…Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God…
God has always been calling a people to Himself; whether in the Garden of Eden, the calling of Abraham, the Hebrews in Egypt, or Christ’s commission to his disciples to go to all peoples. We believe that we are made for relationship with God and with each other. As those who are created in the image of God, we reflect the glory of God back to Himself and to one another. We believe that the power of God is most powerfully expressed in man when he shares in community with God and with others. As a community, we are intentional about joining together regularly to share in our joys and in our pains. We gather regularly around the Lord’s Table in celebration of the Eucharist and to simply eat with one another just as God’s people have done for thousands of years.
Questions that we ask to make sure that we are living in community are:
How are we communing with God?
How are we living together in community?
